Feminist Geopolitics

Overall Description: In what ways can feminist geographies help us understand the manifold contemporary power struggles that we face in Europe and around the globe? What is the role of difference and intersecting identities, such as gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality and class, in constituting spaces, places, and political boundaries? Through discussions and hands-on exercises we reflect on what feminist scholarship can tells us about conflict, security, nationalism and geopolitical violence.
