This workshop includes an exchange with distinguished scholar and activist Margo Okazawa-Rey from the University of California, Berkeley (USA).
PeaceWomen Across the Globe (PWAG) is the successor organisation of the initiative ‚1000 Women for the Nobel Peace Prize‘ (2003). The organisation aims to promote women’s participation in political decision-making and in peace processes and to curb violence on women. PWAG organises activities in Asia, Europe, Africa and Latin America, including Women’s Peace Tables and exhibitions about women peace activists.
Margo Okazawa-Rey is board member and regional coordinator of PWAG since the organisation’s foundation.
