Based on the reading proposed, the session will explore in an interactive way the intersections between feminist and postcolonial thoughts. This is of particular importance in view of ongoing debates about decolonializing academic knowledge and concepts. Discussions will build on the participants’ diversity of interests and research experiences, so we encourage them to think about the resonance between the texts and their concrete experiences and issues. Therefore, we invite participants to bring along an object illustrating this resonance.
